Sharon McShurley is a former Mayor of Muncie and Yorktown Town Court Clerk who has spent years serving her community and working in positions that require leadership, organization, accountability, and trust.

In addition to her public-service experience, Sharon has more than 25 years of experience co-owning and managing residential real estate. She has also worked in professional portfolio management, overseeing residential properties while focusing on financial stability, compliance, customer service, and effective day-to-day operations.

Sharon holds a Master of Public Affairs degree with a concentration in policy analysis and has experience working in and with local government, as well as addressing legislative issues at the local, state, and federal levels. She has also served as a volunteer board member and president of a condominium association, where she oversaw projects, helped revise bylaws, and assisted in establishing a capital improvement fund.

Throughout her career, Sharon has developed a reputation for being dependable, organized, fiscally responsible, and committed to serving others. Her experience as a court clerk gives her firsthand knowledge of the importance of accuracy, efficiency, professionalism, and excellent service within the Clerk’s Office.

Sharon attends Union Church, where she also co-leads a small group. Her commitment to serving others extends beyond her professional life and reflects the values of community, responsibility, and service that have guided her throughout her career.

Sharon is running for Delaware County Circuit Court Clerk to bring experienced leadership and a dependable, dedicated approach to serving the citizens of Delaware County.
